Zeus is becoming a really fun dog. He was looking for some guidance when he first arrived and is really starting to thrive now. He loves to try to chase bunny rabbits and squirrels when out on his runs but also loves to lay at your feet, or if you let him, peacefully on your bed.
He does respect boundaries in the house. He does not jump on the furniture or counter surf. He does go from window to window to watch you outside if you forget him inside.
Although we've had a lot of rain, we have not had any thunderstorms. So we can't report on any storm anxieties, but we suspect he will be fine.
With the month of rain we have not been able to meet up with our neighbor yet for a dog "drive-by" to see how he walks past other dogs, but we hope to soon. He was just neutered Friday so we are hoping that some of his aggression he showed towards another dog is curbed.
Zeus has a lot of positive energy and one of his favorite things to do is lay on his back and smile. He has a good appetite and a good attitude. He is a very brave dog (sometimes too brave) and his confidence is going to take him places. Continue to follow his journey to finding his new home.
