Nellie brings us so much joy every day. She has traveled with us to 11 different states. She spreads her golden sunshine and the good work of Ragom everywhere she goes. 

Nellie is doing great. She has brought so much joy to our household. She enjoys daily walks and walks so nicely on a loose leash. She will play ball every chance she gets. At first she didn't quite know what to do with other types of toys, but now she enjoys those too. It was a very easy transition to bring her home.

Nellie, my sweet foster dog, has found her forever home with a pair of retired adopters who are ready to shower her with love and attention. Her days will be filled with leisurely walks and relaxing trips to the cabin, ensuring she enjoys a joyful and fulfilling life. Congratulations, Nancy and Peter!

Nellie’s journey to adoption has been an emotional one. She was surrendered to RAGOM along with her litter of puppies. Unfortunately, Nellie wasn’t able to nurse her pups, but thanks to the care of her foster mom and some amazing RAGOM volunteers, the pups have thrived, and Nellie has been right there, cheering everyone on.

Now that her puppies are growing strong and will soon be moving to their forever homes, it’s Nellie’s turn to find a family who will give her all the love and attention she deserves.

A Heart of Gold

Nellie is everything you’d expect from a Golden Retriever—affectionate, loyal, and playful. She loves to be petted, often laying contentedly at your feet or cuddling beside you for a good snuggle. While she enjoys being near her humans, Nellie is also an active girl who loves to play fetch and have fun with other dogs in her foster home. She’s calm inside the house and only barks when she’s excited or ready for some fun!

An Easy-Going Companion

Nellie is the kind of dog who can adapt to many living situations. She doesn’t require a fenced yard and has excellent recall, meaning she’s reliable when it comes to listening to commands. Nellie loves other dogs but would also be happy as the only dog in the home, as long as she gets plenty of attention and love. She’s also fantastic with kids of all ages, making her a great addition to a family.
