Buoy

Profile

Meet Buoy, one of eleven puppies born to Lola (25-111), who joined RAGOM from an auction on April 27. Shortly after Lola arrived, she surprised us with the exciting news that she was expecting! Eleven beautiful puppies were born on May 12, 2025. Buoy was diagnosed with a heart murmur so he stayed a little longer in his foster home than his siblings. The heart murmur has resolved and is no longer an issue for him.

Buoy is a healthy, high energy pup who loves balls and is always on the go. Buoy can live with children and other dogs and does not require a physical fence. He has not met any cats yet but as a puppy, he could be taught to live with cats. Like all puppies, Buoy has a lot of energy and has much to learn about growing into a confident, mannerly dog. His future family will need to supply plenty of love, exercise, and training to help Buoy become the best dog he can be.

Buoy hit the jackpot with his new family. He has a fur brother to play with, a human sister who already adores him, and a mom and dad who are committed to loving him, training him, and giving him the best life.

As a bonus, his new home is right by a lake, so he’ll get to spend plenty of time splashing around—one of his very favorite

  3. At just 14 weeks old, Buoy has already stolen our hearts with his joyful spirit. He had a little heart murmur when he was younger, but after a checkup, we learned it’s an innocent murmur (it’s gone now) which means this sweet boy is healthy and ready to live life to the fullest! This handsome pup is as social as he is playful—he loves kids and gets along great with other dogs, though he doesn’t need a furry sibling to be happy. He also doesn’t require a fenced yard, as long as his family has a safe plan to give him the playtime and exercise he loves.

Buoy is the whole package—sweet, smart, and so ready to be someone’s best friend.

Could he be the missing piece in your family?

  4. Buoy Update – Almost 11 Weeks Old! Buoy is growing into such a sweet and smart little pup! At almost 11 weeks old, he’s doing great with his crate training—keeping it clean and dry—and he’s even asking to go outside now. Such a good boy! Buoy was born with a heart murmur, originally graded a 3. At his 10-week check-up, we were thrilled to learn it has improved to a grade 1! Buoy was born with a heart murmur, originally graded a 3. At his 10-week check-up, we were thrilled to learn it has improved to a grade 1! Many puppies have what’s called an “innocent murmur” that they grow out of, and we’re hopeful that will be the case for Buoy. If it doesn’t resolve on its own, we’ll have him tested again when he’s around 4 months old to learn more.

In the meantime, Buoy is a happy, active puppy—full of energy and personality. He’s been lucky to spend a little extra time with his mama, and we think that’s helped him blossom even more. He’s already mastered “sit” and “down,” thanks to being very food motivated (treats make the best teachers!).

We’re so proud of Buoy and excited to see how he continues to grow and thrive.

  5. Buoy is one of eleven precious puppies born into RAGOM’s care, and at just 4 weeks old, he’s already growing bigger and stronger each day. He and his siblings are just starting to show their little personalities and love tumbling around together in play. While they still rely on their mama for all their needs, with such a big litter, their devoted foster mom is lending a hand with extra feedings to ensure everyone gets the nourishment they need.

Next week, they’ll begin exploring solid food—a big milestone that will also give their hardworking mom a well-earned break!
