He’s well-behaved when left alone, having been home solo for up to 9 hours. While he may whine a little at first, he settles in and rests peacefully for most of the day. Gus roams freely in the house and has shown great house manners.
Gus gets along well with other dogs and is respectful of cats—he simply ignores them. He has, on rare occasions, growled when feeling uncomfortable or unsure in certain situations, but this behavior has become increasingly rare as he’s gained confidence and trust.
