Cleo is a petite red Golden Retriever that came into RAGOM’s care as a former breeder
mom. She has been to the vet for her wellness exam, is current on vaccinations and
monthly preventatives. At her exam it was discovered she had 2 broken teeth that needed
to be removed. That surgery has been completed and Cleo is completely healed up and
doing well.
Cleo gets along great with other dogs and is currently living in a household with 2 other
Golden Retrievers and is doing well in her new pack. She is very good at respecting
boundaries that have been set and even setting a few of her own.
Cleo is a little unsure when meeting new people, but that doesn’t stop her from being friendly and making an
effort to be sociable. She is very good with kids and should be able to live in a household
with kids of any age. When she has had enough interaction she will go to a safe spot and
relax till she is ready to come out and interact some more.
Cleo is housetrained, kennel trained and knows a few commands (sit, come, wait). She
knows her name and will come when called. Her leash skills do need some work. During
the night she sleeps on her blanket next to the bed and sleeps through the night. Currently
when I am away from the house Cleo is kenneled, but she has free roam while I am home.
Cleo is on a mission to destroy any stuffed toy that comes her way and are testing any toy
that claims it is indestructible. She did show anxiety during the 4th of July Fireworks, but
otherwise does fine.
Cleo is a great girl that needs a place to lay her head at night and enjoy adventures during the day.
