Behavior Services Outreach
Helping Golden Retrievers and Golden Mixes Stay Home Through Behavior Support
Sometimes a dog doesn’t need a new home—they need the right support.
Behavior challenges can be frustrating and overwhelming, but they don’t always have to end in surrender. RAGOM’s Behavior Services Outreach program helps families better understand and address their dog’s behavioral challenges so, when it’s safe and appropriate, dogs can remain with the families who already love them.
How We Can Help
Depending on the situation, our team may provide:
- Behavior evaluations and guidance
- Personalized behavior modification plans
- Training recommendations and educational resources
- Referrals to qualified trainers or veterinary behaviorists
Every family and every dog is different. Our experienced Behavior Services team carefully evaluates each situation to determine whether Behavior Services Outreach is the best path forward, always keeping the safety and well-being of both the dog and the family as our highest priority.
If you’re considering surrendering your Golden Retriever or Golden mix because of behavioral concerns, we encourage you to contact us before making a final decision. In many cases, the right guidance and support can help families successfully work through behavioral challenges and keep their dogs at home.
