Kelly came into RAGOM as an owner surrender. She currently does not have any health issues or concerns. Kelly came from a farm and has shown to be scared at first with strangers. Though nervous initially, she warms up and has never shown any signs of aggression. She comes from a family with five children, but the eldest was 16 years old, so there is some uncertainty as to how she does with young children. Slow introductions with kids who are dog savvy would be beneficial. Kelly should be an only dog and has been timid with some dogs on walks (not all). She loves cats but sometimes can be possessive of her toys with the cats. Kelly does not require a physical fence to keep her safe. She is a sweetheart and would make a great companion and family member!

Kelly is a very sweet five-year-old girl with great manners. She is house trained, and has free roam of the house when we’re gone, but has also been crated before as a puppy. She has no destructive behavior but would love to have a glove of yours if you leave it about! She has great recall and knows her commands and some hand signs. Kelly loves to play fetch and is good at it, and does pretty well on a leash. She enjoys looking out the windows or having a nice sniff around the neighborhood. She is timid with strangers and other dogs at first but warms up, so slow introductions are helpful. She loves cats but can be possessive with her toys with the cats, otherwise no resource guarding issues. Once warmed up, she will ask for pets or belly rubs and wants to be around people. Kelly has nice manners, no separation anxiety and is a gentle sweet girl. She will sleep on your bed or in hers, and is a very good girl! She is truly a sweetheart and would be a great companion and family member!
