Autumn
Profile
Autumn is a 5 year old Golden Retriever mix that came into RAGOM when her surrendering owner was no longer able to care for her due to health reasons. She can live with other dogs, but no cats due to her prey drive. She can live with children of all ages, but families should be aware that she does jump and may knock over someone. A physical fence is optional for her as long as there is a plan in place to keep her safe.

Hi everyone, my name is Autumn, my person loved me very much but had to go to the hospital and they gave me to RAGOM. I had a ruff start, not because of ME because I am an angel. I landed in North Dakota where there are so many bunnies hopping around I can’t decide which one would be tastier. I focus on the squirrel that thinks it can eat out of the bird feeder and tease me every stinking day. I’ve tried to climb the tree but just can’t manage that.
Now on to the good stuff, I like to watch out the window to guard my boundaries. I bark and my foster mom says I look like scrappy doo. I don’t know who that is but I believe her, she’s been honest with me so far.
My favorite thing to eat is ice cream. We go for car rides and I always get my own cup. I love balls, I don’t bring them back but I love them and I tend to bring at least one to bed every night. I’m petite, I take treats very gentle but I do jump up on people and pushed foster mom off the deck last week. We had “a talk” about that. It was an accident.
My foster mom says I need to sleep on my bed. I said that’s fine then she climbs in next to me! I don’t understand that but whatever.
I’m learning to like car rides because of the ice cream, I’m afraid of loud noises and storms and when people leave me. It scares me. I’m afraid to go outside alone. I’m afraid of tall men with softer voices but after a little while I like them.
I can sit nicely, do yoga, downward dog, and always come when my foster mom calls me. I like walks and walk nice but I don’t like to walk more than 2 miles of it. I get tired.
