Abby is happy to be a part of the RAGOM family and is excited for you to start following her story, meeting her at Meet-and-Greets and maybe inviting her into YOUR home (isn't she adorable??)!
Abby came to RAGOM from a rescue in SD after having a litter of pups. The rescue asked RAGOM to help find her a wonderful, new forever home and RAGOM was happy to oblige (we have the best adopters ever!). Abby is a petite 45ish-lb Golden Retriever mix and has the most adorable ears! Her coat is dense, soft, and so pretty. And she has a beautiful tail that she carries like a plume when she is excited and happy.
Abby is a little shy and skittish, but with each passing day, she is more confident and comfortable with her surroundings. When I sit on the floor, she is happy to come to me and will accept petting and massages - oh, and yummy treats, which she takes ever so politely. When she is let out of the crate, she is super playful and does the play-bow (she is super cute when she does this!). Abby also walks really well on a leash and loves to be outside.
I will write more as I learn more about Abby in the coming days and weeks. Abby will need a family that can be patient with her and help her build confidence - which she does pretty quickly as she gets used to her new surroundings. Abby will also be spayed soon, and then she will be ready for adoption! Please let your advisor know if you are interested in meeting Abby!
