Amber is a four year old Golden Retriever who was fortunate enough to come into RAGOM through an auction, where she was saved from the breeding life.  She is a sweet girl and isn't used to what the good life is yet, so she needs another confident dog in her new home to show her how dogs are supposed to live!   She's good with kids but because Amber is still pretty shy, would do best with kids over 5.  She has not been tested with cats.  Amber will need a physical fence in her new home, due to her nervousness of loud or sudden noises.

    I’m great with kids and people, and honestly, people are my jam. I recently moved to Minnesota and started a brand-new chapter in life. I used to be a breeder mom, but now I’m learning the joys of being a family dog—no more parental responsibilities, just love, comfort, and companionship. I think I’m adjusting pretty well!

     


    I’m not a fan of crates—they make me nervous—but that’s okay because I do wonderfully with free roam of the house. Loud noises and sudden movements can make me a bit hesitant, so I’d do best in a calm, patient home that understands I’m still learning that the world can be a safe place. Treats help a lot (I’m very food motivated!), and while I still need to work on some basic obedience skills, I’m eager to learn with the right guidance.

     


    My perfect forever home would be with a family who has time to spend with me, lots of love to give, and a couch I can curl up on beside them. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle companion who just wants to be near her people, I might be your girl. 🐾💛
