Meet Ava, or "Miss Personality" as we like to call her. This pup is approximately 3-4 months old, and smart as a whip. She had never been in a house prior to arriving in ours, but has settled in very quickly.She is happiest when she is surrounded by people, and absolutely loves everyone she meets.

She is very quiet, except for the loud tail thumping that is her response to anyone talking to her. She is easy- going and affectionate. adores our adult dog and is respectfully curious about our cats--an occasional sniff is the extent of her interactions with them.

Housebreaking is going very well. She sits quietly while we put on the leash, and squats every time we take her outside and tell her to "go potty." She sleeps well in her kennel at night, and has been waking once during the night to go out--she wakes us by whining, then goes back to sleep afterward.

She rides in the car very well, typically curling up in the back seat for a nap. She is quickly becoming accustomed to walking on a leash, and is curious about the world around her. We have begun working on "sit," and she is catching on quickly. She recognizes her name, loves to chase a ball, and adores snuggling on the nearest lap.

This little girl is going to be one wonderful dog!
