Here comes Bauer, a beautiful eight-month-old (DOB: 8/7/14) Golden Retriever. Bauer weights in at 60 lbs and has more growing to do. He is house trained, crate trained, knows basic commands, and is learning to walk nice on a leash. I am so lucky to be fostering this young adolescent boy. He has lots of energy and might be the energizer bunny's cousin. He loves to play ball, explore the woods, wrestle with the pack, and greet new people is a favorite thing. He also thinks every dog is a potential playmate. He has four dogs in his foster home to play with and does great with them all. He is learning to leave the cats alone, but it is hard because he is still a puppy and does some naughty things.
Bauer was lovingly surrendered due to his family not being able to give Bauer what a young pup needs most and that was time to spend with him. His family did a wonderful job getting him to this point in his life. He is sweet, loving, confident, and would make a great obedience dog, therapy dog, agility or fly ball. This boy is smart and needs a job to do to keep him from becoming bored.
Bauer is all up-to-date and will be neutered later this month. If you are looking for a buddy to take with you wherever you go, Bauer might just be that pup!
