Chowder/Miles was lovingly surrendered to RAGOM when his family's circumstances changed and he was spending too much time alone. He is a well behaved boy who can live with children and other dogs. He has not lived with cats recently but did well when exposed to cats earlier in his life. He does not require a physical fence. Chowder/Miles is looking for a family who will pamper him in his senior years and is prepared to provide much love and companionship in return.

Miles (Chowder) 14-234 crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He was a bright and loving dog that managed to find every toy we owned that had a squeaker, as shown in his photo. Welcome back to RAGOM, Chowder/Miles! Chowder/Miles is a sweet 9 1/2 year old golden doodle who, through no fault of his own, has returned to RAGOM. He came into RAGOM's care as a pup, and has spent the last 9 years with a loving family. We have learned so far that Chowder/Miles is a very well behaved boy. He has exhibited good manners, and knows several commands such as, sit, stay, lay down, come etc. He has not had a single accident in the house, and he walks very nicely on a leash and harness... Welcome back to RAGOM, Chowder/Miles! Chowder/Miles is a sweet 9 1/2 year old golden doodle who, through no fault of his own, has returned to RAGOM. He came into RAGOM's care as a pup, and has spent the last 9 years with a loving family.
We have learned so far that Chowder/Miles is a very well behaved boy. He has exhibited good manners, and knows several commands such as, sit, stay, lay down, come etc. He has not had a single accident in the house, and he walks very nicely on a leash and harness. He is used to wearing boots for his walks, and is very patient while getting the boots on. Miles is not crate trained, but does respect baby gates.

Chowder had a mostly good report from the vet yesterday. He was found to have coccidia, a common intestinal parasite. Fortunately, there are no symptoms, but we are treating him for this. He will be neutered this Friday. We have started to work on potty-training, and Chowder is beginning to catch on. He is a joy to have around.
