Desi is a four year old female Golden Retriever who was lovingly surrendered to RAGOM. She gets along fine with other dogs, but would love all the attention as an only dog. She is good with kids of all ages and has not been tested with cats. She loves to roam around in a fenced in yard, but would do fine on a tie out. She is a low energy gal who will want to continue her daily walks.

Desi joined us a few weeks ago and has been nothing but amazing. She did need some decompression time for the first few days but after that she has been smiling and happy as could be. She greets you with a full set of teeth - it's pretty cute.
Desi is the sweetest, girl you will ever meet. She loves everyone. She will go from person to person just to get love (and give it of course!!). She always comes with a toy in her mouth to greet you when you get home. We have been working with her on walking, she does good just isn't quite used to the harness but getting better. She does pull some without it.
Desi absolutely loves going on car rides and has done well with my small dog and has been around big dogs with slow introductions. Having a canine companion would be fun for her, but she would be more than happy to be an only dog and have all the attention on her as well.
She loves to give kisses and play with toys, loves stuff animals, but also likes to chew them up.
We are able to give Desi free reign within the house while we are gone. She is not destructive, doesn't get into anything and hasn't had any accidents. She loves running free in my fenced in yard but also would do well with a tie out.She loves being outside and just laying in the yard.
