Esther

Please welcome Esther! Esther has been with us almost two weeks and she has gotten more comfortable in her new environment. When Esther first arrived at our home she was comfortable interacting with our resident dogs and cats almost immediately and adjusted quickly to living in a house. She would be comfortable with either dogs or cats in her forever home but would also be good as an only pet.

Esther has not had exposure to kids in our home, but it is felt she would be good with all ages. She has done minnie zoomies with one of our resident dogs and will initiate play. Even though Esther has never lived in a home she is learning home living items quickly including learning about going outside to potty and has not had any accidents.

Esther is a healthy girl, but she has had ear infections which is currently being treated. She was recently spayed and will be available for adoption after a sufficient recuperation period. She loves lying on the couch and if allowed would cuddle up to her human all day. The couch has remained her favorite spot even at bedtime. She also loves joining the other dogs in the garden. Even professing to be a master gardener.

Esther has laid claim to the garden shovel. 

Esther has not had much experience walking on a leash, but is eager to be near her person so she should learn quickly. She needs to be coaxed into the car, but once in rides well. She will be a wonderful addition to one lucky family!
