  2.  My four legged troublemakers are growing just like the weeds in my garden :) They are soo cute, but boy do they keep me on my feet now. They are always looking to get into something new. They are starting to act just like their mama, running around with sticks and balls in their mouths and playing tug of war games with the ropes. The good thing is that they are already catching on to potty training :). I came home on my break today from work and found only a couple of spots from where they... Read more → Read less ↑

I came home on my break today from work and found only a couple of spots from where they went pee. Right when I took them out they went pee and poo again and the same happened when I got home from work and again this evening. Trust me they still do have accidents, but they are catching on like champs:)

When we went into the vet for their check ups the vet noticied that Zoe and India both have grade 1 heart murmers. She said that she would not be surprised that by the time they come in for their 10 week check up that she would not hear one anymore so let's keep our toes, fingers and paws crossed she will not hear anything on their next visit :) By watching them you would never guess that they had them. They are just as active as their other siblings and to be quite honest Zoe is probably the most active one. She is always the first to run up to somebody or dog that comes into the yard. Very sociable and loves everybody and everything :).

And speaking of vet visits...Ruby and her babes all will be making a trip to Dr. Snip on Tues, then I will be a empty nester by this weekend. Boy I cannot imagine how strange it will be without my 4:30 am puppy alarms going off :). I know mama is ready for some peace and quiet...she used to run in the room to check on them, now she just lays in bed with me and crawls out of bed when I do. She has been just the perfect mom and is so deserving to have some Ruby and FM time in bed :)

Check back by the end of the week with all the beautiful pics of the pups heading off to their forever and anxious families :) And don't forget..Zoe and India are still looking for their forever homes too :)

  4. Wow...it is amazing how Ruby's puppies are growing so fast and getting much wiser. They are already learning to use the puppy pads and newspaper and also are learning how to escape their pen. Last night I got out of the tub and found puppies running around everywhere...along with little puddles everywhere :(. The girls definitely rule this pack :) ... They have no problem running up to their brothers and taking them down and forcing them into one of their wrestling matches... Read more → Read less ↑

The girls definitely rule this pack :) ... They have no problem running up to their brothers and taking them down and forcing them into one of their wrestling matches. But, the boys are the ones who are most vocal...

Kaiden, who is the runt, makes up with his strong lungs :)  And Baily is the best snuggler...she just pushes her little body right into our arms and just absorbs all of the love. Oliver is very independent as you will find him laying by himself, but he loves to be picked up and held by us. And the three other girls are all very sassy and outgoing.

They are all starting to get sooo spoiled...they hear us or we walk by and they just start screaming to be picked up. They cry and we come running :) Yes, they have us wrapped around their little tails.

Mama Ruby, I think, is starting to get tired of being a mama all the time as I have noticed she is starting to spend more and more time away from them, so today they had their first taste of puppy food :)  They all nose dived right in, paws and all :) They were in heaven and took a nice long nap afterwards...And FM had her own little piece of heaven with some quiet time :)
