Koda

Koda has gone to his fur-ever home. He was so excited to see his new family that it was difficult to get a good picture, as he was so wiggly. He will have a great life with his brother and two human sisters.

If you'd like to meet Koda, he will be at the RAGOM Mother's Day Bake & Craft Sale on Saturday, May 9th from 10am-2pm.

Koda is a remarkable foster dog looking for a loving, forever home. With his gleaming eyes and wagging tail, Koda’s personality shines the moment you meet him. He is a beautiful blend of intelligence and playfulness—making him a perfect addition for an active family or individual seeking an engaging companion.

Intelligence
Koda is exceptionally smart and eager to please. He learns new commands quickly and loves mental challenges. Whether it’s mastering puzzles, learning tricks, or picking up new routines, Koda thrives on mental stimulation. Training sessions are not only effective but also fun, as Koda responds enthusiastically to positive reinforcement.

Playfulness
Playtime is Koda’s favorite part of the day! He delights in chasing after toys, playing fetch, and engaging in interactive games with people and other dogs. His joyful energy is contagious—he’ll have you smiling and laughing with his antics. Koda enjoys outdoor adventures, long walks, and exploring new places, but he also knows how to wind down and cuddle after a busy day.

Quirks and Flaws
One quirk to keep in mind: Koda loves to sleep next to you and will happily curl up in your lap, offering comfort and warmth. However, he does not enjoy being petted while lying down. If you gently rest your arm on him or there’s incidental contact, he will tolerate it, but direct petting while he’s relaxing is not his favorite. Respecting his boundaries will help him feel safe and secure.

Ideal Home
Koda is searching for a family who will nurture his intelligence and provide plenty of playtime. He’d do well in a household that offers both mental stimulation and physical activity. Koda gets along well with other dogs and would love a canine sibling, but he’s just as happy being the center of attention.

Why Choose Koda?
