Lilah
Profile
Lilah is a 7 month old Golden Retriever puppy who found herself in RAGOM's care after being moved around a bit. She is a typical puppy with a lot of energy. Kids should be over 8 years old so they can understand Lilah's boundaries. She can live with other dogs and cats. A physical fence would be best for her, so she can burn off some of that puppy energy!
Because of Lilah's disruptive start in life, she will need a home with consistency and commitment to helping her settle in and learn her manners so she can be her best self!

Lilah, a 7-month-old purebred Golden Retriever, has captured our hearts with her resilient spirit and unwavering loyalty. Despite her young age, Lilah has already experienced three homes, each with its own unique challenges. But now, she's ready to find her forever family who will provide her with the love, patience, and consistency she deserves.
Initially adopted into a bustling household with several young children, Lilah's boundless energy and playful nature fit right in. However, an unfortunate incident led to her transition to a new family. Despite their best efforts, they struggled to meet Lilah's needs amidst their busy schedules. Finally, in her third home, a minor incident involving a toilet paper roll led to a level 2 bite, meaning skin contact with minor abrasions, but no puncture.
But rest assured, Lilah has since been in a stable foster home where she's thriving and showing no signs of such behaviors.
In her foster home, Lilah has seamlessly integrated into a pack of three resident Goldens, transforming from cautious acquaintances to playful besties. She's also proven to be a cat-friendly companion, having lived harmoniously with feline friends in the past. Lilah is up-to-date on all her vet checks and vaccinations, although she's yet to be spayed.
While she's still learning to trust with her front paws, Lilah is a quick learner who knows some commands and excels at her "sits." With treats, she's the epitome of gentleness. A true velcro dog, Lilah adores cuddling on the couch with her foster mom and is crate trained without issues at night. During the day, she may bark in her crate, likely expressing her longing for her beloved humans.
For Lilah's best interest, a home with older children, preferably over 8 years old, who understand and respect dog boundaries would be ideal. A physical fence in her yard would provide her with the security and freedom she craves.
Lilah is more than just a dog; she's a princess in search of her royal family. Let's give Lilah the consistency and love she's been yearning for.
