Welcome RAGOM's most recent baby! Sweet, adorable little Mic (we call him Mickey) is an 8-week-old puppy who is definitely all puppy and just so darn happy all the time. His motto for life right now is "play hard, sleep hard." He loves to zoom around both inside and outside, considers everything on the ground his own personal chew toy, and loves, loves the water. We first saw how much he loves the water when he stepped right into the water bowl and sat down. He realized right away he could not drink at the same time, so finally realized that his two front paws could be in and then he could drink. He will get to see a great big "water bowl" this weekend when we take him up to the cabin. I am anticipating we will have a hard time dragging him away from the lake. :)

While his puppy energy is so much fun to watch and be part of, there is absolutely nothing better than having a sleepy puppy curl up in your arms and fall asleep. Mickey is very cuddly and affectionate and loves to be next to us when he takes his naps. He is truly just the most perfect puppy! Please remember that while puppies are incredibly cute:

  • Puppies have small, immature bladders and cannot go a full work day without being let out. You will need to make arrangements for a midday break until he is about 6 months old.
  • Puppies are a LOT of work in their first year!
  • Puppies NEED obedience, manners training, and socialization! RAGOM gets many unmannered and undersocialized dogs in due to a simple lack of training and socialization when they are young. This is a crucial time for puppies to learn so many things!
