Welcome Sheila to RAGOM. Little is known about this girl. She is a rescue from the Pine Ridge Reservation. She is 29 pounds, up-to-date on her vaccinations, has been spayed, and has a clean bill of health. She is about 8 months old and a mix of Lab and Blue Heeler? She is housebroken, sleeps all night, and loves people. She will not get in a crate without a bad fight; she did have a bad experience in one. We are working on that. She loves to sleep next to me. She walks OK and will not pull, but she will cross back and forth. She will take treats from your hand and is very gentle. I have only heard her bark a few times. She is mostly white with one completely brown ear which makes her look so special. She loves to run, so a large yard with a fence would be great, but she dose very well on a tie-out. She still has puppy in her and loves kids, so a more active home is better for her.

  1. I am happy to say Sheila has found her forever home. I just got an update from them. Sheila will have her own fenced yard to play in and three children to keep her busy. The house next door has dogs and she loves to play with them. She is a very happy little girl and thanks to RAGOM, she will have a great life. 2. I need to get you an update on this special puppy. She is doing great, and my customers love her. She gets treats, chew sticks, and today a new toy from a customer. She likes to watch out the windows during the day, and when the doors are open, she shows no sign of wanting to dart out. She has only barked a few times since I have had her, (about 11 weeks) and 4 or 5 of the barks were at a new toy she had gotten. Thunder and rain has little to no effect on her. Sunday mornings, she has roam of the house and one time she got in the wastebasket in the bathroom and tore up a tube from the toilet paper, but no other problems. She did have a problem getting sick, but a trip to the vet and getting her off puppy food has brought that to an end. She is a very happy pup and will make someone very happy to have her. At night and on weekends, she loves being outside and I keep her on a tie-out. She loves people and can sit by the edge of the sidewalk, greeting everyone who comes by.

  3. On this update, we can say we are doing better on our walks, and we love to play with other dogs. We had a great time playing with Cinder the other day and we love to play with the kids next door. We are still a puppy, so we play and sleep, then get up, eat, and do it all over again. Sheila is a very well-behaved dog. Read more → Read less ↑

  4. I have been with this sweetheart for a month now and enjoy her very much. She loves to play and at my work, she loves it when people come in. She will play with the neighbors' dog every chance she can. She will lay on the couch next to me when I sit and watch TV and loves to sleep in bed with me most the time. If not in bed, on the tile floor. She is learning to walk better on her leash, but I think a harness would be a good choice. If she wants something she will pull and her martingale collar... If she wants something she will pull and her martingale collar will start to pinch her neck. She barks very little, mostly when we play, never when people come over. Great with kids, and she seems to like car rides once she gets in. Once in a while, she looks at the open door and is not sure if she wants to get in. Not sure why because most the time she jumps in and is ready to go.

  5. I have had this great dog for 2 weeks now and she is very special. We did a RAGOM event and she did well with not only 4 Goldens, both male and female, but there were many other dogs there. She was fine with all of them. Last week, she was tested with a baby of about 6 months and she did well. We did get by a cat at the vet and she had no real interest, but it was a short intro, so I will say she is not cat tested yet. She knows "sit," is somewhat good at "stay," and is housebroken with only one time going in the house, but that was the night she got home after getting spayed. She has been coming to work and customers love her. She will sit next to them while they wait to get their cars serviced. She does not try to sneek out an open door and loves people. At night, we sit outside and she is fine on a tie-out in the backyard. She will make a great pet for some lucky person.
