Finnegan 26-110 is headed home! It always amazes me how dogs seem to know when they’re about to leave. On this morning’s walk, Finnegan was sniffing everything with extra enthusiasm, then became especially cuddly and playful while we waited for his parents to arrive. As soon as they got here, he climbed into their laps, ready to go home. He is one very happy boy, and I’m sure he’ll have a wonderful life. Meet Finnegan: Part Cuddlebug, Part Land Shark
Finnegan is a young, almost 9-month-old pup with a big personality, an even bigger curiosity, and a mouth that is always conducting very important scientific research. Around here, he is affectionately known as a “land shark” because he likes to taste-test the world—hands, toys, leashes, probably your personal space—just to make sure everything is up to puppy standards. The good news? He is extremely cute, so his tiny shark routine comes with a very convincing apology face.Finnegan loves couch cuddles and is happiest when he can snuggle close to his people. He also has a playful way of asking for attention: he may try to gently put your hand in his mouth, just in case you forgot it was playtime. He is looking for adopters who appreciate puppy humor, are ready to help him learn polite manners, and understand that behind the goofy chomping is a sweet dog who wants connection and fun.

Favorite Activities
Walks are high on Finnegan’s list of approved adventures. He sits nicely to have his harness put on, which is very mature and responsible of him. Then, for the first half block, he may transform into a backwards-walking leash tugboat, proudly grabbing the leash and pulling in reverse like he is auditioning for a parade float. Once he settles in, his excellent nose takes over. Finnegan enjoys moving along at a good pace, but he also believes every smell deserves a thorough investigation.Finnegan’s Ideal Home
Finnegan would do best with a family that enjoys an affectionate, silly young dog and is excited to continue his training with patience, consistency, and a good sense of humor. He is still learning that hands are not toys and leashes are not chew ropes, but he is smart, eager, and full of potential. If you are looking for a lovable pup who brings comedy, cuddles, and daily sniff reports, Finnegan may be your perfect match.Adoption pitch: Adopt Finnegan, and you will never again wonder whether your couch is cuddle-certified or whether the sidewalk smells interesting. He has already checked both. Thoroughly.
