Humphrey is a two-year-old Golden Doodle whose owners gave him up to the Humane Society when they had to move. He was adopted from there by a very nice lady who loved him to pieces, but realized Humphrey would do better not living in a big city.
Humphrey is almost perfect in every way! He is incredibly loyal (think follows you from room to room relentlessly), super smart and just a total cuddle bug. He is perfect on a flat lead. He engages my younger dog in play, but very much recognizes boundaries with my elderly dog.
Humphrey is slightly apprehensive around men, but warms to them after a couple of visits. He is terrified of a crate so this will not be an option right away - or maybe never. The vet noted he had wear on his canines, likely from trying to chew out of a crate at some point in his young life. Humphrey gets very carsick after about 45 minutes and frankly, does not enjoy riding in the car. He's used to having someone home most of the day, but does fine when left home with the other dogs. Humphrey would probably do best in a home with another canine buddy.
This dog has the sweetest temperament ever! He's up-to-date, not destructive in any way and just a true beauty. All the hard work is done on this one. Enjoy the spirit and adoration of a puppy without the work!
