Benji was lovingly surrendered to RAGOM when his family could not afford the on-going costs of his medical care. Benji has several on-going health issues requiring his new family to be able to afford the cost of medical care, and committed to providing the care Benji needs. Any children in Benji's home should be age 5+ simply because Benji is a big fellow and could inadvertently knock little ones off balance. He can live with other dogs and can live with cats. He does not require a physical fence. Bemji will need a special family to accept and provide for the medical care he requires.

10/29/2022Benji has found his match! He and his adopter clicked at their first informal meeting. His adopter was not yet looking for a dog, as his beloved Golden Retriever had recently passed away, but Benji had other ideas! Benji will be well cared for, well exercised, and doted over. His new dad is committed to his health needs and knows that this may be a challenging journey. Despite truly loving this dog, his insurmountable vet bills every month became too much for his family to handle after two years. Benji is special needs due to a history of extensive allergies requiring medication injections every three weeks, a history of ear infections and UTIs, a prescribed need for a prostate flush, a high cost special GI diet and more.
