Profile

Tessa is a wonderful girl who was lovingly surrendered by her owner due to an illness in the family.  She is a well-mannered girl who is house trained and knows basic obedience commands. Having too much time on her hands in her home she developed anxieties that are currently controlled with medications. She needs a family willing to commit to a consistent schedule of exercise and training to help her settle in and feel useful.  If her family has children, it would be best if they were older (13+), she would be fine with other dogs or as a solo pet and okay without a fence. She has not been cat tested.

Tessa was adopted to a wonderful family on April 21st.  They wanted a mixed breed dog with some Husky in the mix.  The family is very experienced with dogs.  They have not only a townhome in the cities, but a wonderful property up North where she can spend time enjoying the "cabin life."

Tessa was adopted by her second home, a loving couple who brought her to Minnesota.  They tried to help her adjust to the big disruption...
