Charlie is a sweet young male Golden Retriever that came to RAGOM due to the surrender owner's personal health. He is a loving and playful dog that will need obedience training and patience to help him reach his full potential. Charlie is learning from the resident dogs that he will need to work on his manners and is already picking up on their social cues. He would benefit from a home that has a strong confident dog similar in size to play with and run off energy in the yard. Charlie would also do well as an only dog. He has not been tested with cats. Due to his size and energy, a home with older children would be recommended so that he does not knock over a young child in excitement. He has a previous history of chewing and eating things he should not so a home where toys are not left out or on the ground would be safest. With the right training, love, and patience, this sweet boy will make the perfect family pet!
