Profile

Angel #09-038 has arrived at her cold and snowy northern MN  foster home and started playing in the snow right away... at -23°! Angel was in a very loving home with kids and a wonderful environment but unfortunately her owner's had to move to a smaller place that did not allow pets. It was a very difficult decision for the owner's to contact RAGOM and we thank them very much for doing so.

Angel is a 6 year old female spayed PB Golden Retriever who has already lived up to her name in the short time we've had her. Angel is house-trained, loves to snuggle, plays fetch, knows all the basic commands and more, walks great on a leash, has a great temperament, has a "happy prance" when she walks, and has a very beautiful and very red coat color. Angel will be visiting our friends at the Garrison Animal Hospital next week for a check-up and we'll be able to pass on more Angel info then. Meanwhile we'll be getting to know Angel better....maybe she'll explain why she loves to have snow kicked up in the air so she can leap and jump at it.....might be a new workout thing......

From Angel's forever family... Angel is 7 years old and we adopted her in February of 2009. She was out of shape. and had trouble making it up the stairs in our home. After 4 months of "doggy bootcamp", Angel has come a long way. She has lost 12 pounds and can run 3 miles. On a warm spring day we also discovered her love for the water as we visited a creek near our home. What fun we had playing fetch in the creek with Angel and watching her swim like a fish!!Here is Angel sunning herself after a...

Angel is doing very well with her new Adoptive Family the "JB'sx4" and I'm sure she's showing them how to catch snowballs. Angel as she is aptly named and we'll miss her as she made us laugh every day with her happy mood and genuine affection. We hope that there will be another Angel GR headed our way as it's great having Angel's in our lives!

Angel has met with her forever home adoptive family who is very excited to have Angel bring them the joy and laughter that we have experienced while fostering Angel. She truly is an angel and will be missed by all who have met her, including her walking dog mates that she looks forward to seeing a couple of times a day.  Angel would like to thank everyone that wanted to meet her, and hopefully they will meet their forever GR soon. Gotta go now as Angel says it's time to go for a walk, a...

Angel continues to live up to her name and makes us laugh everyday! Angel has a tremendously happy spirit that's contagious and really brightens your day. She loves going outside to explore and has met several of the "local" country dogs who are teaching her how to walk thru the woods and snow and follow any type of game trail, even though I'm pretty sure if she met a critter I think that critter has nothing to fear. This morning it was -23 and barely light and there was Angel...

Angel has been busy the last few days getting used to country life - all sorts of animals in the area that she really can't see but sure can smell them. Today Angel visited our good friends at the Garrison Animal Hospital in Garrison, MN and Dr. K says Angel needs to lose a few pounds as she weighs in about 83 lbs!, making her a bit heavier than we'd like her to be.....as we walk 3-4 times per day this will help get her some exercise and we'll switch her to more of a "Senior&quo...
