This is the most recent information available; however, it may change as we learn more about the dog.

This will be hard to believe once you meet me, but both Anna, 14-215, and I were abandoned in a dump as small puppies! Fortunately, some wonderful people found us, and we became RAGOM girls on July 30. Can you believe how lucky RAGOM is that someone found such gorgeous gals? Although we weren’t in great shape when we arrived, a few weeks, baths, great food and lots of love have made all the difference in the world. After only a few weeks, I’m cute as a button, have a shiny black coat, considered a bit mischievous, wiggly and love my belly rubs.

News Flash…potty training is going extremely well when my foster mom and dad stick to a schedule and pay attention! Yo, Foster Mom, I’m standing by the front door! I received a perfect bill of health from the vet on August 18, tipped the scales at 17 lb. and couldn’t even whine when I was microchipped and given my first round of shots since my mouth was so stuffed with the good treats they hide at the Vet Clinic! My spay surgery is scheduled for August 30, but Anna tells me she found a great hiding spot for us so we won’t be found on the 30th!

I love to play with other dogs, but no roughhousing (unless I’m the one roughhousing). If it gets too rowdy, I just get a cuddle from my peeps. I approach new dogs by letting them know I am no pushover by barking a lot (trying to sound tough!) but it only takes a few minutes before I make a new friend. I've been kid tested and approved, but would really appreciate it if children chilled a little and approached me with patience. I like to feel comfortable with new places and people before I relax and enjoy myself.

Here are some tidbits from my foster mom:

  • Loves belly rubs
  • Goes easily into her kennel. Treats help!
  • She is exhausted by 10:00pm and sleeps in her kennel until 7:30am with no accidents!
  • Enjoys playing with other dogs if they aren’t too rough.
  • Kid tested and approved.
  • Known snuggler!
  • Been known to eat paperwork and high heels
  • Loves walks and stays right by our side
  • Knows ‘sit’ and ‘let go of my purse’ command! Ha ha
  • Could spend hours chasing frogs and crickets.
  • Gets a serious case of the wiggles when she gets up in the morning and whenever she welcomes you home!

To be honest, I’m simply an awesome puppy who needs a loving home. You’d love meeting me and remember to bring treats…lots of them!

As you catch a glimpse of my ridiculous good looks in the photos below, please remember:

  • Puppies, including yours truly, are a LOT of work in their first year!
  • Puppies NEED obedience, socialization, and manners training! RAGOM gets many unmannered and undersocialized dogs surrendered due to the simple lack of training and socialization when the puppy was young. This is a crucial time for me to learn about so many things.
