Birch was surrendered to RAGOM from a commercial breeder in Ohio. He is the biggest of the four pups and sometimes likes to throw his weight around a bit. As with all puppies, he can adapt to a variety of home environments (children or not, other dogs or not, cats or not, fence or not) with the proper upbringing. Birch has razor sharp teeth so though he can live with children of all ages, any children should be closely supervised in his presence because he wiill chew anything and is likely to bite anyone while he is in this phase. Prospective adopters must provide a detailed plan for bringing a puppy into their home, including plans for exercise, socialization, obedience, potty and crate training. Puppies are a big commitment, requiring several years of patience and consistent training to become well-mannered, confident family members.
