Hello Ragom, this handsome boy is Boone. Boone is a 5 year old, 73 lb. handsome Golden/ Lab mix. Boone is a very healthy boy who gets around extremely well on 3 legs, missing his rear right leg from being hit by a car. You would never know it, though, when watching him get around, he doesn't miss a beat! He is being neutered this week and is up to date on his shots.
Boone came to Ragom from a family with kids. Boone was primarily an outdoor dog recently, due to an allergy issue with the youngest child. Boone is really, really sweet and gets so excited whenever he has the chance to visit with kids, adults and other dogs. He is a bundle of tail-wagging love and enthusiasm! While he was an outdoor dog, he is fully house-trained. Boone knows a couple of commands; sit, lay or go lay down. He is extremely eager to please and learns quickly. We will continue to work on sharpening up his manners, a bit.
Boone loves people and will be a great addition to a new family. It you have any questions about Boone, please talk to your Placement advisor. In the meantime, I will soak up as much love from this boy as I can! He sure makes it easy to love and be loved by him!

Fence-YES, a sturdy one, he was allowed to roam the neighborhood prior to Ragom and lost his leg in a car accident.
Kids- Yes, Boone would love his own kids or visiting kids.
Another Dog- While Boone would love another dog to play with, he does not need one.
