9/1/06: Meet Buddy. He is perfectly named! He loves everyone and everyone loves him. He came from a puppy mill and was skinny and not used to people. He was scared of everything. It is amazing how different he has become in just a week. That scared, skinny dog is learning that we love him. He plays with his doggy friends and is learning some manners. He weighs 62 pounds and was neutered this week. He is up to date on all his shots. He has the typical Golden face that you just have to love. He truly is a diamond in the rough. Every day he improves and learns more. He is a pleasure to foster. It is wonderful to see how an animal responds to love and care.

Buddy is friendly with everyone and everything. He never barks and is crate trained. He is a little nervous around men but is getting better about it. He pulls on the leash a little, mostly when I first take him out. I believe he is AKC registered but I need to verify that. If you are looking for a younger dog that is energetic but will be quiet in the house, then Buddy is your dog. It is easy to tell how grateful he is to be out of his bad situation. He really looks like he is actually smiling and cuddling in the enclosed picture!
