Hi everyone, I'm Cameron and I love attention!! I'm in a foster home with my sister Jayden 09-023. I came from a accidental litter and I'm slowly adapting to living in a house. I was living in a shed with pigs. When I got to my foster home the first night, I really reeked of pig poop. My foster mom gave me a bath and shampooed me twice and even put conditioner in my hair. The bath was a huge ordeal. I was incredibly scared and laid in the corner shaking while mom was giving me a bath. I'm such a big boy that foster dad had to come help foster mom turn me and get my belly rinsed off. After the bath, I still stank a little but was a lot better smelling. Foster dad put me in front of the wood burning stove and I was content to just lay there letting the heat dry my hair.

The first night and next morning I wouldn't eat any food and seemed really confused over what foster mom was trying to feed me. Mom said that the guy who owned me before fed me the same stuff he fed the pigs so it will take me a day or two to get used to dog food. She was right. The second night I was at her home, I finally broke down and ate the stuff she was trying to feed me. She says she tries making it more nummy tasting by mixing canned food with the dry. Now I have no problems eating the stuff she gives me and will even try to eat my sister's food when I'm done.

Mom says I'm a big boy and that at 6 months old I'm already 62 pounds. She says that she thinks I'm going to be a really big dog when I'm done growing, so I may not be good in a family with kids because of my size. Also, I have this horrible habit of peeing a few drops of urine when I get nervous. I'm not the biggest fan of my foster dad and other men. Foster dad tries really hard to interact with me, but every time he comes near me, I let a few drops of pee out. Mom says it will take me a while to get used to my foster dad and foster dad says he's going to keep working with me so I will learn to trust him someday.

I love playing outside with my sister and resident dog. All of us love to chase each other. Foster mom says I have to go to a family with a tall fenced yard. My foster mom has a 2 foot fence around her garden but I ignore the fence and jump into the garden to play. She says that she's thankful that she has 6ft tall fences around the yard. The garden is a ton of fun to play in since the snow isn't trampled down. I quickly learned how to come into the house. The first day I was nervous about coming inside but now I think it's this great game and love running inside and back outside and back inside, etc.

I absolutely hate a leash. Foster mom said that's fine for now and she'll give me a little more time to adjust to the house and the newness of everything before she starts working with me with learning to like a leash.

I love getting attention from foster mom and will run up to her when she comes in the room and calls me. I'm a fast learner and quickly coming out of my shell. The resident dog is really helping me learn what I need to do. Mom says unless things change in the future, she really thinks I need to go to a family with another dog. I am really smart and I'm picking things up quick. I've learned how to go up and down stairs, how to go in and outside, and even how to fetch as long as foster mom doesn't throw the ball more then 8 feet from me. I will bring the ball back and will let foster mom take the ball out of my mouth. If foster mom is giving Jayden attention, I get really jealous and will start getting mouthy with her hands/arms. I will also get mouthy with her other times too. She says that's me being a puppy but that's something I need to learn not to do. She will put her arms behind her back and sometimes leave me if I don't stop. I really love attention. I love splattering foster mom's face with a ton of kisses. I love, love, love getting pet and I'm just learning the joy of belly rubs.

I also am really curious over this thing mom calls a cat. One of the cats in the foster home loves to rub up against me and curl up with me. I like to sniff her a lot and let her rub up against me. I am also a really good role model for my sister. She's really nervous and scared and I do my best to comfort her and to teach her everything I'm learning. Mom says that she made a vet appointment for me to get neutered this week. I don't know what neutering is but I hope it doesn't hurt! She has told me that I will be with my sister all day long and that I need to comfort her since she'll be scared. I promised foster mom I will be the best brother in the world while I'm at the vet!
