Cassi was surrendered by her family because she was having issues with the resident female dog in her household. She came into RAGOM with a couple medical issues that will need to be monitored. She has been diagnosed with moderate but stable kidney disease and she has one partially closed tear duct, and one completely closed duct. Cassi has a tendency to get overstimulated when meeting new people, so she would be a good fit for a home with children 10 or older. She potentially may not do well in a home with another female dog and/or other male dogs (though she has done well during introductions to submissive male dogs). She has not been exposed to cats while in foster care. Her new family will need to be patient when it comes to introducing her to any new dogs in the future, as it takes her time to warm up.
