Welcome the new girl on the block into RAGOM Land -- Chloe! She is a petite, red beauty with dark brown eyes and wonderful feathering. She is a purebred Golden Retriever, but resembles an Irish Settler, and had her seventh birthday last week. Her previous owner was a vet, but passed away. I'm guessing he brushed her teeth regularly, because they are all pearly white. She was affectionate from the start and can hold her own against any nosey brutes checking her out (ummmm, Bobby?) She is well-trained, already joining the pack with regular jaunts thru the forest and in the creeks. Apparently she didn't live by water, as she has only gone in to her legs so far, and shakes her head if anybody else splashes water on her.

Chloe has adjusted well to our home so far and slept fine on the floor her first night here. She gets along with all of the other dogs. Her vet records indicate she has been kept up-to-date with all vaccinations. We will be getting her into our vet for a wellness office visit during the coming week, and will report back on how things went. She is a high energy dog with a high prey drive, so should not live with cats or small dogs. Foster Dad says you would be an idiot for passing up this dog, but then he is a little more direct than Foster Mom.
