Please Note: We have an extensive waiting list of approved applicants for purebred puppies. If your family is considering submitting an application, be aware that pups currently on the site will NOT be available by the time your application is processed. The number of puppies in our care is unpredictable, and it could be months or longer before we have more purebred puppies available.

12/14/2013:

Welcome Clover to the RAGOM family! Clover is one of 10 puppies from Alli 13-353 that came in from a breeder who retired due to health issues. Clover was born on October 29, 2013, so she is 6 weeks old now. She is a healthy, active puppy learning all about life, and she enjoys playing with our five children and resident dog.

Clover is our largest female and loves to chase a big plastic ball. She also was one of the first pups to check out a large toy dump truck, which has become a puppy favorite. She seems to have a very even temperament. Clover is currently 6 weeks old and weighs 6 1/2 pounds. She has been dewormed, has been treated for coccidia and giardia, and has received her first set of shots. At the last vet visit this past week, a slight heart murmur was detected. The vet was not concerned since she is very active, but it is something to be aware of.

Clover on right, not so sure of this ramp and the cold!

Play time! Clover in pink collar.

Clover will be ready for adoption around the first weekend in January. She can entertain potential families at any time.

Please remember as you look at her adorable pictures:

  • Puppies are a LOT of work in their first year!
  • Puppies have a small, immature bladder and cannot go a full work day without being let out. You will need to make arrangements for someone to come in at midday until she is about 6 months old.
  • Puppies NEED obedience, socialization, and manners training! RAGOM gets many unmannered and undersocialized dogs surrendered due to the simple lack of training and socialization when the puppy was young. This is a crucial time for puppies to learn about so many things!
