Everyone please welcome handsome Cooper to the RAGOM family. He goes by Coop or Bubba, is three years old (almost four), weighs 76lbs, and boy is he a wonderful dog!

Cooper was lovingly surrendered by his previous owner due to an unforeseen change in living situations. Cooper is said to be good with kids of all ages, okay with dog savvy cats, behaves himself with free roam, no storm/separation anxieties, gets along with male and female dogs, and LOVES people.

It is obvious that Cooper was socialized very well by his previous owner. I am almost positive HAPPY is the only emotion this dog has! The second he stepped foot in my house he felt right at home. He gets along great with both of my resident dogs, and especially loves to play tug of war with my male Lab. Cooper is kept in his crate overnight and while I am at work and he does fabulously, goes right in when I say "go to your kennel." He even waits in his crate with the door open while I scoop his food. In his previous home he was let out on a tie out or kept in an invisible fenced area, so a physical fence is not required for his adoptive home. Also, he rides in the car nicely. So far Cooper's only bad habits are occasionally jumping up when he is excited and counter surfing, I am working with him to kick those bad habits! Oh, and I almost forgot...he LOVES to play with toys and carry them around.

I brought Cooper to the vet this week and he has double ear infections and is a little over weight. Besides that he is in great health, all up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped.

He is such a goofy, silly, happy dog...you really just want to smile when he's around you. If you are interested in Cooper please let your placement advisor know!
