Cooper was surrendered to RAGOM from a previous owner. Overall, Cooper has good bill of health. Currently being treated for an ear infection. He also tested positive for anaplasmosis but no treatment or additional testing is required because he is asympotmatic. Cooper was surrendered to RAGOM from his previous owner because of food aggression issues. When fed on his own and left to eat independently, there are no issues. He can also gently take treats out of your hand with other dogs around and doesn't exhibit aggression in these situations. Because of this issue, he needs to be in a house with older children (13+ years old). He does well and can live with other dogs. He has not been tested with indoor cats, but he respects outdoor/barn cats so would likely do well with indoor cats. A physical fence would be optional, but he is still working on recall commands so would need to be monitored if outside with no fence. He is a loving dog who will make a great companion.
