Profile

Meet Doger (sounds like Dodger) or Dozer, we have some issues with which name is correct. His vet work says Doger and Dodger and they called him Dodger. The name given to RAGOM was Dozer, so since he answers to both, we're going with Doger pronounced as Dodger. Confused yet? You should be here:)

He's about 4 years old according to the vet. He was surrendered along with his 'brother' Colby 10-186 when their human had to go into a nursing home. Sadly he has lymes disease, anaplasmas and a UTI (urinary tract infection). He is on Doxy for the next 2 weeks and should have no lingering efffects. He is a big boy at a solid 88 lbs with no fat, a beautiful deep red curly coat, playful, a bit mouthy, loves attention and gives the golden paw. He wolfed down his food tonight and has had no accidents. I did discover he can move a baby gate if not solidly placed and he whines when you leave him. He is fine with Jax, my cocker, and ignored the cat that has appeared (we have 3).

It's Saturday and I am happy to announce that after a bit of whining at bedtime, he and Colby 10-186 settled in for the night. At 5:30 a.m. he announced it was time to rise and shine, and I found no surprises. However, after greeting Doger and letting him out I did discover he had peed at the spot he greeted me. I really feel this is excitement and with the UTI he just loses it. He ate a hearty breakfast and has been in and out playing. We are now going to brush and bathe today so will send in new pics in a day or so. This boy is so beautiful and loving and must have spent a lot of time with his human. And when he has had enough pics he gives the raspberry. Stay tuned for more down the line.
