Profile
Emmy came into RAGOM from a commercial breeding environment. Everything about living in a home is new to her, but she is gradually adjusting to the wonders of being a house dog. She is easily startled, so any children should be old enough to understand her needs. She can live with cats and will require another dog in the home to model and learn from and she must be kept safe in the yard with a physical fence. Emmy will blossom into a loving, confident companion dog in a home that provides her with affection, guidance, training, and patience.

9/30/2024Miss Emmy finally found her happy ending! She will be living in a small town in Wisconsin with her new mom and fur sister, Chloe. Chloe is also a breeder rescue so the two girls have a lot in common. Emmy’s owner has a lot of experience with breeder rescues and knows how to give her the love and patience she needs to blossom. - 6/18/2024Emmy found her forever home! Her new mom was looking for a sweet, older dog to join their family and Emmy is the perfect fit. We are so happy for her! She is going to be so spoiled and have the absolute best, golden life. We will miss her so much, but find comfort in knowing we could not have found a better family for her. It’s been a long journey for her - she is finally and officially home!

- 3/28/2024Emmy did so well at the groomer! They said she was a very cooperative and sweet girl. She came home and immediately cuddled up next to her foster sister. She continues to gain confidence and make strides every day in her new life. We also learned she really loves playing in the snow as you can see in the picture!
- 3/11/2024So many new things for Emmy since the last update! She had a successful spay surgery with a good teeth cleaning on 2/15/24. She recovered like a champ and spent a few days at another foster’s home while we were away. It took her a bit to warm up to a new place, but overall, they said she is a very sweet girl and by the end of her stay she fit in just fine with their two dogs. - 2/19/2024Emmy is a sweet, quiet girl who came to RAGOM from a breeder where she likely spent her first 6 years of life. She came in very shut down, then showed her resilience after just a couple days in her new foster home! She started following and watching our resident dog very closely.
