What a sweet and mellow boy. Introducing Fabulous Frankie, the 8.5 year old master cuddler

I am very impressed with this friendly boy. His puppyhood is past, what is left is one of the most gentle and loving goldens I've ever met, he seriously could be a therapy dog. He's mastered the 'Golden Nudge', and you'll find yourself petting him without realizing how he came to be under your hand.

He attended my Superbowl party his first weekend here. He worked the room, getting pets from 16 men for four hours. Then he took a 30 minute nap and was back for more. He is VERY attentive to people eating, but does not help himself. He's not surfing the counters or getting into the garbage (unlike my former Fosters and Duke). He does enjoy barking at squirrels, but pretty much ignores Dukes barking (especially at the mail man).

Frankie was surrendered by his loving mom on Feb 4th, he cried in his backyard and into Fredrick's car, accepting puppy kisses from Copper. His family had him since he was 8 weeks old, helped raise 3 children and gave lots of love to grandchildren. His mom was relocating and couldn't afford to keep him. He was well loved his whole life, and quickly settled in with his new Foster Dad and Foster Brother Duke (12-257). He came with a nice write up from his mom, some toys, food, a Big dog bed and a Handkerchief "Ready to Cuddle".

Getting cuddles at Meet and Greet. (Duke is in front).

He loves car rides, but needs a boost to get into the car. He's converting from a floor dog to sharing the couch with Duke. He explodes out of the door into my fenced yard, gives a few hello barks to some neighbor dogs and kids. He makes sure there are no nasty squirrels handing around. He walks pretty well.

He seems to be fine when I leave, but FD is retired so he gets tons of cuddle times.

His forever family needs to be prepared to cuddle. He had some problems last year until his family shifted to grain free kibble. He does need some dental work done and is otherwise up to date.

93# of love.
