7/31/07: Hi!  My name is Gus. I am a gorgeous male Golden Retriever/Yellow Lab mix.  I am approximately 17 months old but cannot be sure, because I was found by my previous owner. I was given to RAGOM because he developed serious allergies. I am a very good dog and LOVE to be around people.  I also get along with other dogs, which my foster mom's 11 year old Golden Retriever can attest to. I also don't mind being around cats or children and would make a very good family member.

I am very good on walks with my Gentle Leader on. I do need to lose a little weight, so if you can take me on a walk daily or play fetch with me, I will enjoy that very much. I like being in my crate while left alone; I feel more secure in there. All in all I am a super wonderful dog who needs a super wonderful loving home. I will always be at your side giving you love and kisses. I will even sleep with you if you want me to. Please consider adopting me if you want a close companion for life. We can take care of each other forever.
