I’d like to introduce you to Harley, Harley is a 12 yr. old Purebred Golden Retriever however, he does remind me of a Shetland Pony. Harley came to live with us a week ago because his family was divorcing and were unable to have him in their new homes. We welcomed Harley into our home and with him he brought a big bag full of soft toys, he is so gentle with his soft toys again, Annie thinks they need to lose all of their stuffing so she has decided to make some alterations to his toys.

Harley met our two golden girls without incident. He told me he’s crushing on Annie… Molly is a bit jealous about that but oh well… at least he’s not a two timer…

Harley is a great gentle guy, he is potty trained, loves to shake hands and cook… Yes, cook… He will lay on the floor right under the cutting board just in case something accidentally drops onto the floor… it’s a great spot for him, last night he was able to clean up a slice of pork loin that flew off the serving plate, it was just a miracle he just happened to be there to help out.

Harley has no resource guarding or undesirable traits. He was a bit nervous for the first 3 days living with us but had spent the first 12 yrs. Of his life with the same people before coming to live with us. Harley loves to ride in the car and absolutely loves our 17 yr. old son. The minute our son steps foot in the house Harley is right there to greet him and be his pal.
