This is the most recent information available; however, it may change as we learn more about the dog.

15-318 Jack is a Golden Mix, 2 yrs, neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro chipped. Jack weighs 47lbs and needs to gain 10 to 15lbs.  Jack is  sweet and loving,  good with dogs, loves to play ball, and lived with a cat.  Jack has no anxieties or guarding issues.  He loves to ride in the car and take walks.H e is crate trained.

Jack was lovingly surrendered because their resident dog does not get along with Jack. The RD is shy and reserved and she regressed since Jack came to live there.

I've only fostered Jack for about a week and this is what I know of Jack:

Jack does have a lot of energy. We have a 2 year old Golden mix and the two of them play constantly. He is a master at destroying toys--no stuffed toys for him. Jack has great recall so if he starts to wander --just call him and he comes running.  Jack loves to play fetch and is good about giving the ball back.

He does get on the furniture and wants to sleep in bed but eventually he'll go to a dog bed for the night. He loves being with people.
I've been working on some simple obedience, Jack does know sit and he takes treats very well. We are working on lay down and off--he's starting to get the idea that jumping is not allowed. He does need to learn to walk on a leash better but is slowly improving.

What we've discovered is that when left alone for long periods of time Jack will find things to get into and destroy. So, weekdays when we are at work we put him in a crate with a hard toy and hard bone. He seems to be fine with that. We can leave Jack for 2 hours so long as doors are shut and thing are picked up so that he can't get into trouble.
All said, Jack is a good friendly and loving guy who needs obedience and people to direct his energy in a positive way. I think he'll make a great family dog.
