Jax is a purebred Golden, born on 4/6/13. He weighs about 82 pounds, which is about 10 pounds over his ideal weight . is a very happy, healthy boy! Jax is great with kids and came from a home with a baby and 5 year old boy.

Jax is a typical young dog with lots of energy. He also likes to be close and get pets and belly rubs.  Jax i s looking for a family that will be able to devote plenty of time and attention to meeting his exercise and play needs! Jax enjoys playing fetch and going for walks. He will pull on a regular leash, but does well walking with a gentle leader. His favorite toy is his Kong, and sometimes he takes it with him on his walks.

Jax has free roam at home. He is house trained and tells you when he needs to go out by whining or “talking.” He’s very vocal at times when he’s happy, prancing around with a toy in his mouth! Sometimes Jax will bark when he wants something or is nervous. He is a smart boy who has been to obedience and hunting training. He knows how to sit and shake, takes treats gently, doesn’t have any guarding issues, and comes when he’s called.

Jax does great on car rides. His family shared that he loves to swim and has experienced allergies and hot spots in the past. He is up to date on all his vaccinations and just received clean bill of health from the vet. Everyone was smitten with him at his appointment. He’s definitely a charmer!
