Hello there, I would like to introduce you to "Koby"! Koby turned a year old on June 10th so this guy is definitely still a puppy!

Koby weighs 63 lbs and is at a perfect weight and is very healthy! He is up to date on his vaccinations and has been Frontlined and is on monthly heartworm medication. Koby needs to be neutered and that will happen very soon,

Koby loves the play! He gets along great with my two resident Goldens. He is learning doggy manners from them also. They correct him when he goes beyond what is appropriate behavior. Just a bark warning and he is learning very quickly!  He does like to lick Kirby and Boomer. I asked the vet about this behavior and she said that Koby is just showing submissiveness to my dogs and is perfectly normal.  Koby came from an only dog home so being with two other dogs he has settled in beautifully!  He is also cat friendly! He shows interest in them but once you tell him no he leaves them alone. He also is great with kids but is very rambunctious and could knock over little ones.

He loves to be brushed and leans into you for his brushing! He will mouth the brush but does not bite at it. He is such a good boy for a youngster! Koby knows sit and stay. He needs work on stay yet. He just gets so excited! He also knows down. Pulls quite a bit on the leash but enjoys going for walks. Needs work on jumping up on you yet but has gotten much better since we have been working with him. He does bite at my other dogs ears. Not sure what that is about but he can be corrected with a distraction by doing something else.  Koby is also kennel trained and goes into his kennel by saying "Kennel". He has a blanket we put in his kennel that he absolutely loves!  Koby loves Nylabones! He is fine all day in his kennel while you are at work since we both work full time. He has free roam in the evenings while we are at home and kennels up at night when we go to bed. He is kenneled up next to my Kirby and is just fine with him.

Since he is still a puppy he loves to chew and sometimes on inappropriate objects.  But that is a puppy and we are working on that with him.  Koby rides in cars just fine and is very curious as he looks around at his surroundings. Koby is very loving! Typical Golden behavior. He gets pretty squiggly and wiggly as he gets so excited about his attention! He takes treats from you so gently!

Koby has lots of energy and is a very athletic dog. He has loads of potential! Absolutely no resource guarding. He is such a joy to have around! Such a sweet and loving soul!
