Profile

Lucy Lou came into RAGOM from a commercial breeding environment. Everything about living in a home is new to her, but she is gradually adjusting to the wonders of being a house dog. Any children in the home should be age 5+ assuming the children give her the respect she deserves. She requires another calm dog in the home to model and learn from, although an exception might be made for a family with a history of caring for retired breeder moms. She must be kept safe with a physical fence. She seems indifferent to cats. Lucy Lou will blossom into a loving, confident companion dog in a home that provides her with affection, guidance, training, and patience.

Lucy Lou found her furever family today. She will enjoy lots and lots of attention along with a fur sister her age. As a breeder dog she made good progress with us as her fosters and I know she will continue to become more and more comfortable in her new home.

Please welcome beautiful and sweet Lucy Lou to RAGOM! Lucy is a gorgeous blond colored purebred 11 year old Golden Retriever who was raised in an outdoor breeder situation. She has been in her foster home for about 1 month and is quickly learning to enjoy the indoor life. She wants to be near her people and will lay right by her foster and very often seeks petting. She is a low-key, quiet girl who does not bark, jump or counter surf. She was quickly house trained and has only had a few accidents...
