Introducing the newest RAGOM girl - MACY! Macy is a 7 (almost 8) year old PB Golden Retriever. She was a beloved family dog but was surrendered in the best interests of the dog. The family had another golden retriever who was harrassing Macy and making her anxious. For the health of the dog and the family, she was surrendered to RAGOM. It was a very hard decision for the family but very courageous.
Macy has only been here for a few hours but she is a wonderful dog. She has the typical golden personality (love me, pet me!). She was a little grumbly with my resident dog Sophie and my other foster Neighbor (09-156) but things are settling down. Macy just loves my son and they are spending time hanging this evening (as you can see in the photo) and de-stressing. When we went outside tonight Neighbor was kissing Macy's ears and she was fine with that attention. She loves kids and adults alike. The SO suggested given her anxiety over other dogs that she would probably be a great "only" dog. She doesn't like fireworks or guns. She doesn't like to swim. She walks very well on a leash and is completely housetrained.
Macy will be going to the vet this week just for a checkup and she will be ready for her "fur"ever home. Please contact your placement advisor if you are interested in meeting this sweet sweet girl!
