Hello! My name is Malak.

I’m a 2-1/2-year-old lab/golden/collie mix who has returned to RAGOM due to a change in family circumstances. Right now I’m hanging out in a Foster Home in Superior with furfriends Cody and Suzie, Foster Mom and a couple of elusive cats.

Most of my time is spent playing with Cody. He’s a young Golden Retriever who has as much energy as I do. We play chase, tug-of-war, keep away and wrestle-mania. We never get cranky with each other. Foster Mom says I have an excellent disposition.

Here are some of my other good points:

• Housebroken
• Crate trained (and quiet when in crate)
• No resource guarding
• Takes treats gently
• Knows basic commands
• Great cuddling skills; born to love!
• Compact size—about 55 pounds
• Rides well in a car

Now I wouldn’t want you to think I’m one of those snobby “perfect” dogs. I have some room for growth. You see, when I get excited from playtime (or just because I’m so happy to see you), I jump up. Not a big deal for sturdy humans but not the best fit for little kids and probably some seniors. Foster Mom says she’s working on it . . .
