Mason 06-373

Profile

8/23/06: Mason arrived yesterday from a shelter in Iowa. He traveled to MN with 4 puppies (06-375 thru 06-378) and Nina (06-374). Mason would like to thank Connie and her daughter, Cindee, for making the 10 hour trip and helping 6 dogs start a new life.

Mason is about 8 months old and appears to be purebred. He visited the vet for a check-up last night and he is very healthy! He is also now up to date on all of his shots, micro chipped and he will be neutered on Friday. Mason weighs 54 pounds. The vet guessed that as a full grown adult Mason might weight about 65 pounds, so he?ll be a very nice size.

Mason is a very happy and friendly dog. He likes other dogs and we don?t know about cats. So far, he hasn?t had any accidents in the house. I did crate him for a few hours this evening while I was gone and he handled that just fine. If you?re looking for a buddy to take along to the cabin or to work, Mason might be the guy for you as he is an excellent passenger in the car.

Even though we?ve only had Mason for a short time, it?s easy to see what a wonderful dogs he is. Of course, he is still technically a puppy and needs to be supervised closely to make sure he doesn?t chew inappropriate items (so far he hasn?t even tried!) and he?ll need regular exercise. I?ll try later today to get some better pictures of Mason. Every time I got close with the camera he?s come over to be petted. If he sounds like a good match for you, please email placement@ragom.org. I?m guessing this adorable pup won?t be with us for long!
