It is my pleasure to welcome RAGOM's newest little darling, Molly!!  Molly arrived last week, and was also surrendered with her littermate, Cass 14-145.  She was surrendered due to her family recently having a baby.

Molly is a 6 month old 3/4 Golden and 1/4 German Shepard.  A fellow RAGOM volunteer described her as a golden that looks like she stuck her face in mud!  (She has a black snout!)  She has dark red, wavy Golden-like fur.

Molly is a typical 6 month old pup in her toddler stage!  She LOVES to play, and would do so all day if my 2 year old and 11 year old resident Goldens would oblige more!  She would LOVE it if her forever home had a younger dog. It has taken her a while to settle in and I think she missed her brother, Cass, a bit :(  She will follow me from room to room unless she's in a deep sleep.  She's a bit spoiled in that I'm home during the day and my husband is home at night!  (She's only been home alone once, and was crated during that time)  She is used to and comfortable in her crate.  She has free roam at night and usually starts out in our bed and will move to the floor.  Molly is housetrained but had a few accidents the first few days.  (Very common as they are settling in)

Molly is a wonderful, sweet, silly, well mannered girl that gets along great with my 2 resident dogs.  She knows basic commands.  She will sit before she eats and when I'm putting on her leash.  She will come up to you for some love, and will roll over and just melt when you rub her tummy!   She has a wonderful personality.  She needs work walking on a leash though.  She pulls pretty good and likes to sniff (and eat!) every blade of grass, every fire hydrant, and every mailbox!  She also zig zags everywhere and tends to step on our 2 year old resident, Ginger.  (Who is quite small ;)  She would benefit from a basic puppy/obedience class.  Her recall is good in the house, but I have not tested her too much on this outside, as she is always on a tie out.  Cats are unknown.

Molly was vetted and micro chipped last week.  She was treated for worms for 3 days, but just a trace was found.  She is set to be spayed next Monday  and after her recovery, she's available for adoption!!
