Heeeeeerrrrrrrreeeeeeeessssssss Moses!!

Yes here I am, fresh off the farm, where I spent the first months of my life. Sadly I just couldn't catch on to the 'don't eat the equipment wires' and so decided I'd try out city life. Woot, it's working for me.

I use to sleep in a dog house in the barn, now I sleep in a huge crate at night. When I am in the house I am 'tethered' which I guess means I'm on a leash attached to my FM. Guess she's trying to figure out if I'm 'house trained'. Doubt it, never been in a house before:) But so far no accidents....whew!! I have been enjoying the wading pool, and I am totally awesome with resident Jax, the English cocker, and I met Wylie and we became fast buddies. I had been ignoring the cats, but today when the white one, Bailey, walked across the deck to go in the house I went for him, got him in my mouth and gave a shake. Boy was FM mad at me. But I did let go of Bailey. FM saw a bit of blood, but when she checked Bailey she couldn't find anything. Boy, guess if there were a dog house here I'd be in it:(

I really haven't felt like eating since I got here on Friday. A nice lady named Sue got me from my home and met my FM and handed me off. Thanks Sue, puppy kisses!! They both exclaimed how big I was, 81 lbs to be exact, and what a beautiful coat I have. AND a lot of it according to FM who gave me a bath and has been brushing me since. I'll eat when I'm ready, and it's not like I can't lose a couple pounds.

So I went to the vet on Friday and had my blood work done and since I was up-to-date on my shots etc I didn't need any of that done. However, I do have an ear infection in both ears and love when FM puts these drops in, feels sooooo good. I have a rash around my neck and on my belly, so am on cephalexin for 3 weeks and hopefully that will clear everything up. I'm good to go for the 'de-maning' on Monday, whatever that means. No heartworm, lymes etc. I am as healthy as I am handsome.

I love toys, any kind of toys, and bones and balls and sometimes a couple things I'm not suppose to love. So when my foster parents tell me NO, I try to listen, and then take the proper chewing article from them. I think I'm doing good for a first time living in a house and I'm 16 months old (I was born 2/23/10).

Oh, and for anyone questioning those 'highlights' in my coat, they are natural. I know hard to believe some one could be this blonde and have such great white highlights, but what can I say............I have a great build, legs Lance Armstrong would be jealous of and fur most Hollywood types pay big $$$ for.

So what am I looking for in my furever home, let me see.

  • I have used a radius type collar and never went beyond once trained, so underground fencing or regular fence would be good.
  • No little kids, I'm a big boy and still like to get up and show off my belly.
  • Someone that is active. None of this laying around for 12 hours a day. Running partner, walking partner, agility, something to keep me busy.
  • Patience to understand I'm still a puppy, a BIG PUPPY, and am learning the house rules.
  • Another dog would be totally awesome. I am respectful of the dogs I have met and considering I'm still a 'man', that's awesome my FM says.
  • I need obedience training so I can learn with new family. I want to be all I can be, but I need to be shown the way.

Wow, well, if you have any questions after my bio here, pease feel free to contact your placement advisor (if you are an approved app) and FM will be happy to chat with you.

Oops gotta go FM is coming with the brush........
